After rolling out the medals (some of them anyways) for the 2016 Disneyland (California) Half Marathon Weekend, 2016 Wine and Dine Half Marathon, and 2016 Avengers Super Heroes Half Marathon Weekend, runDisney continued rolling out the medal previews by delivering the medals for the Inaugural Disneyland Paris Half Marathon Weekend. Here they are…
It’s quite the collection. Isn’t it? Here’s a more close up look at the medals…
First up is the medallion that kiddos will receive for finishing their races. This one features a running Mickey.
Chef Remy is the feature on the Inaugural Disneyland Paris 5K race.
Next up is the medal for the Inaugural Disneyland Paris Half Marathon. Yep. It’s pretty cool.
However, the best of all the medals is the Castle to Chateau Challenge medal for those that will have completed a half marathon or longer at either Disneyland or Walt Disney World before running the Disneyland Paris Half Marathon. This just might be my favorite runDisney medal yet….and I won’t be getting one. Oh well, you can’t have them all. I love everything about this medal. The grand Castle, the design, and that it’s colorful. I think this medal will make those of us who decided to skip out on the Inaugural Disneyland Paris Half Marathon think seriously about getting out there next year. What do you think?
So, what do you guys think about the medals for the Inaugural Disneyland Paris Half Marathon? Which one is your favorite?
I’m so excited to do the Half Marathon and get my First ever Race medal. I agree the Castle to Chateau Challenge medal is the best one and I’m a little gutted I won’t get that one. I wonder when the Race course comes out. Hopefully soon. 🙂
Wow! That’s awesome! I hope your experience at the Disneyland Paris Half Marathon is absolutely magical. Good luck with all your training!
The Castle to Chateau Challenge medal I just love and can’t wait to pick it up in WDW in November along with the Wine and Dine Medals I’m so pleased I put in for it this year.
Hi. Can you do the Paris half marathon first and then the wine and dine to get the castle to Château metal? Or do you have to do the American race first, culminating in the Paris half marathon?
