The world is filled with inspirational athletes. Marathon running is no different. I want to share these three videos that tell part of Meb Keflezighi’s story. With the Rio Olympics right around the corner, it seemed like a good time to share more of Meb’s story. After all, he will be representing Team USA in the Men’s Marathon…his 4th Olympics!

One thing I love about the start of Meb’s journey is that he started running to get an “A” in Phys Ed and to win a T-Shirt. I also love how he said his first marathon would be his last. How many of us, mere mortals, can relate?

I watched these videos a while ago. I think that in part 2, we get to hear about his Silver Medal in the Athens Olympics!

If memory serves me correctly, in this part, we not only hear about his 2014 Boston Marathon victory, but his 2012 London Olympics Marathon experience. I actually went and watched that marathon just to see the finish. Talk about ever giving up. Y’all, Meb is the real deal. I hope you take the time to watch these videos. They are truly motivating.
