I didn’t have time to write my usual weekly recap. Between running the LA Marathon, getting myself home from the race, some recovery time, and heading out for a celebratory meal at Universal Citywalk, I had no time to write. Today, I’m continuing the celebration at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. So the weekly recap probably won’t show up until Wednesday. For today, I wanted to get this post up to let Y’all know that I survived one of the hottest LA Marathons ever! I had a lot of fun along the way. If you followed me on Twitter and Instagram, you saw some of the fun I had. I can’t wait to tell you guys all about it!

Thanks. I saw you and Devin right as everyone was starting. You guys were a little too far away for me to get your attention and we were close to the start line. So, it wasn’t a good time to catch your attention. It was a pretty hot last 6-7 miles! However, I really loved most of the course. I am planning on doing this race again next year. Hopefully, the weather will be a little better in February. That way I can see how fast (or slow) I am able to run a marathon. The focus for this year’s race was pretty much on having as much fun with the course as I could. Congrats to you on finishing as well!
