runDisney at Disneyland Planning

runDisney offers 4 running event weekends over the calendar year. Starting with the Star Wars Half Marathon Weekend in January, then the Tinker Bell Half Marathon Weekend in May, the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend over Labor Day Weekend, and the Avengers Super Heroes Half Marathon Weekend in November. There is one event happening in each of the seasons of the year. With the popularity of the runDisney races at the Disneyland Resort booming and races selling out in mere hours, it’s not out of the realm of possibility that more races could get added. If you are coming to the Disneyland Resort to run in the runDisney races, you might need some advice on how to plan your trip. So, I have written a blog series on planning your trip that I hope will help you out. Especially, those of you who are used to going to Walt Disney World for your runDisney race-cations. In order to make it convenient for you to come back to and reference, I’ve made this tab with the intent of keeping all of those posts in one place. Without further ado, here are the blog postings….

Part 1 – Disneyland Resort Dining

Part 2 – Disneyland Tips

Part 3 – Disney California Adventure Tips

Part 4 – The Disneyland Resort Hotels This part covers dining at the Disneyland Hotel and Disney’s Grand California Resort and Spa as well as a few other items of interest in these Disney Owned Hotels.

Part 5 – Downtown Disney – This part covers dining, shopping, and entertainment highlights at Downtown Disney in Anaheim

Part 6 – Beyond Disneyland – In this part, I cover what is around the Disneyland Resort. Of course, you could just blow up the image above to see all the options.

For general Disneyland Resort planning information, I highly recommend reading Tom and Sarah Bricker’s Disney Tourist Blog. You can see their Disneyland Planning page, here.

For detailed and as up to date information on Disneyland Dining…including menu’s, I highly recommend bookmarking, Touring Plans. Here is their Disneyland Dining home page.

I hope the information in this tab will help you in planning your runDisney race-cation at the Disneyland Resort!

I am coming for a vacation in November from England, I’m a big runner and would love to take part in a run whilst over there for the two weeks I’m going for. Is there anyway I could enter one
Thanks for reading my message and hope to hear from you soon
