Are you looking to spice up your running playlist? Have you always wanted to create a playlist that corresponds to the runDisney race you’ve signed up for? Good news for you! Walt Disney Records has created playlists for the next 3 runDisney Half Marathon Weekends!
First up is a playlist for the 2016 Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend. There are 30 songs on this list! Here are the first 10…
Rather than give you the full list, I thought it wold be good enough to just give a taste. Click on the image for the 2016 Disneyland Half Marathon to get the full list.
Next up is the playlist for the 2016 Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend. Here’s a sample of what you can find on that list…
As you can see, the list is different from the Disneyland Half Marathon Playlist. One song I like in the list is the last one…When Can I See You Again? by Owl City (from the Wrek-It-Ralph Soundtrack). If you’ve seen Disneyland’s Paint the Night Parade, you’ll recognize the tune. The words are slightly different. However, I might have to download this song on iTunes. Hmmmm.
Lastly, is the playlist created for the 2016 Avengers Super Heroes Half Marathon Weekend at Disneyland.
Again, the list is different than the other two. I love that each list is largely made up of different tracks! To access the tracks, the press release on the Disney Parks Blog, says you should either sign in (or sign up) for Spotify. Check out the Walt Disney Records Profile to find each playlist.
I signed up for a free account with Spotify to check out the lists. Now, you can sign up with Spotify and use the lists as they are constructed if you want. Or, you can use Spotify to find out which songs work for you and which ones don’t using the lists as constructed. Then, you can add the songs that work best. This seems like a great way to add some Disney to you running/workout playlists. I, for one, have been in need of some new tunes to run with. So, I’m super excited about this news!
Just so you know…I am not reporting this out of any kind of sponsorship offer. I saw the press release on the Disney Parks Blog and am genuinely excited about it. My guess is that I’ll use the Spotify lists to help spruce up my current playlists that I have on iTunes. Time will tell how I use Spotify. To be honest, I haven’t been using Spotify. So, I’m a total newbie. I figured that the free use has its limitations. It’s better to try out something for free to see if it’s something I’ll want to pay for later. Either way, I’m excited to be trying out something new!
Do you guys use Spotify already? Any tips for getting around Spotify? What are the limits of the free Spotify account? Please share below.
