Christmas Time at Walt Disney World

It’s Christmas week. So, I thought it would be appropriate to take a virtual trip to Walt Disney World to check out their Christmas celebrations. At the Magic Kingdom, they have Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Celebration. So, let’s start there…

From what I can tell, this is how the Christmas season started at the Magic Kingdom this year. Elsa and Ana host “A Frozen Holiday Wish” that ends with the first lighting of Cinderella’s Castle. This is where our virtual trip should start.

Of course, we’ve got to take in the classic Christmas parade. Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas Parade is everything a Christmas parade should be.

Lastly, we’ll close out the night the way you’d close out the night at the Magic Kingdom. This video starts off with Celebrate the Season Show at Cinderella’s Castle and Holiday Wishes.

Over at EPCOT, they run the Candlelight Processional all season long. While I’m still a bigger fan of the Disneyland version (which I sing in), this version is still very good on its own.

Last, but not least, is the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. As you are probably aware, this is the last year of this wonderful display. Sadly, I will never get to experience this in person. I know that no video will ever do this display justice. I hope you enjoy as much as you can for not being there in person.

I hope you enjoyed this brief Virtual visit to Walt Disney World to see some of what they have to offer this holiday season. On Christmas Day, we will take a virtual trip to Disneyland to see what they’ve got going on this Christmas season. I absolutely love the Disney parks at Christmastime! Hopefully, these videos will help bring some of the Christmas magic into your home. See you Friday.
