It’s been a super crazy start to the Christmas season here. Please forgive my missed posts. I barely have time to get this out as I’m still recovering from an amazing Candlelight Processional Week. Here are some pictures of the week.
First up, the three training runs.
Run number 2…
Run number 3 of the week!
The Walt Disney Studios got all decked out for the holidays!
One of a couple Christmas trees.
My favorite part of Candlelight week is this. At the end of the dress rehearsal, we have to walk back through an empty Disneyland to get to our cars. So, I get to take uncrowded pictures of It’s A Small World Holiday all lit up!
Traffic was kind to me on Thursday. So, I got to the park a little early and got to experience some of the Star Wars Season of the Force attractions. The film in the former Captain EO Theater was AMAZING! It’s the perfect way to get ready for Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens.
I also got to take in Paint the Night before heading back stage to check in for the dress rehearsal.
Saturday, I processed up Main Street U.S.A. to perform in the Candlelight Processional.
This is the video of the Candlelight Processional show I was in! Geena Davis was the guest narrator. If you’ve only seen the Candlelight Processional at EPCOT, you should check out the Disneyland version. After all, this was the 58th year of Candlelight at Disneyland. It originated at Walt Disney’s Christmas Card to the city of Anaheim in Disneyland’s 3rd year.
After singing Candlelight and Dinner, I went to ride It’s A Small World Holiday. Right as I was getting to the end, Paint the Night was starting up. So, I watched it for the second time in three days! Love this parade!
As I made my way from It’s A Small World to the Nightmare Before Christmas Haunted Mansion, I caught the tail end of Fantasmic!
I love that they included the Hatbox Ghost in this year’s Nightmare Before Christmas Haunted Mansion!
This is what happens when two holidays collide!
Eventually, it was time to head home after another great year of Candlelight.
On Sunday night, I had two concerts at Arbor Road Church in the orchestra for their Christmas concerts! It was a fun week, but tiring at the same time.
i love all of your pictures! I wanted to come down to see if i could see any of candlelight but i had to finish up some papers. i will be down at disneyland all day sunday though!
