I’m back! After a few days off, I had to come back for the weekly Virtual Disney post. They are so much fun to write! We left off last time in Frontierland at the Magic Kingdom. On the way to Frontierland, we passed by Adventureland so we could come back to it this time.
OK…I had to start off with my favorite attraction at Disneyland. The Magic Kingdom version isn’t as good as the Disneyland version. However, it’s still a very good attraction. It’s the perfect way to kick off our time in Adventureland. The above video was very well put together as well. I love it when the videos spend some time in the queue area. After all, at Walt Disney World, they excel in their queue lines. The queue line for Pirates of the Caribbean is so cool at the Magic Kingdom. I love it!
Since we’ve just come from our voyage on the Pirates of the Caribbean, we have to embark on this fun adventure…A Pirate’s Adventure – Treasures of the Seven Seas. Watching this video makes me want to add this to my next trip to the Magic Kingdom. It looks like a lot of fun. I wonder of you need a hard ticket to play this. It seems like you can do this game with the Magic Bands as well.
Now that we’ve had fun with the Pirates, it’s time for some different kinds of adventure. We’re off to Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room (Under New Management). Back in the day, these audio animatronics were state of the art. Now, it’s a fun little show. The main song is very catchy. By the way, it’s also a fun song to run with….just sayin’.
We head from one classic attraction to another. The Jungle Cruise is an absolute classic. The line to ride when I was last at the Magic Kingdom was just too long. I love these virtual trips because we never have to wait in line. If you’ve ever ventured down the Amazon in the Jungle Cruise, you know that the captain of the ship is so important. So, I made sure to get a good skipper. Ah, the work I do for you.
Now that we’ve survived the jungle, we’re off to Agriba for The Magic Carpets of Aladdin. It’s kind of like Dumbo…only you’re on carpets instead of riding on the back of an elephant. The cool thing about this kind of attraction is that it does give you some good views of Adventureland!
The last “attraction” in Adventureland is the Swiss Family Treehouse. This attraction is a walk through. At Disneyland, they re-themed this to be Tarzan’s Treehouse. It’s good to see the Magic Kingdom has the original still intact.
I’m cheating a little bit with this video. However, it was too good not to share. For many, the Dole Whip is a tradition at Walt Disney World like no other. Since we’re in Adventureland, we had to stop by Aloha Isle for our virtual Dole Whip. This video gives us some very useful information. You can get an even better Dole Whip at the Polynesian Resort…as the woman in the video says…just a monorail ride away. If you ever wanted to know how to make the perfect Dole Whip, this video is for you. If the sight of a Dole Whip is something you can’t stand because you can’t actually get a Dole Whip through the video, you might want to stay away from this video…
Or, you could watch this video and make a Dole Whip at home!
I hope you’ve enjoyed this trip through Adventureland as much as I enjoyed finding the videos to share. Next week, we’ll finish off our trip to the Magic Kingdom by visiting Tomorrowland. If you want to check out any of my previous Virtual Disney trips, just click on the tab above to my page for all the virtual trips. I write the virtual trip posts on Fridays as a way of helping us all to relax at the end of our work weeks. What better way to relax than to take a virtual trip to Disney? Of course, an actual trip to Disney beats the virtual ones. However the virtual trips cost less. Happy Weekend!

WhyIRunDisney continues with his virtual tour of the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World with a trip through Adventureland. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
Got to love those Dole Whips…. man I still have a month and a half to wait for the next one!
If you watch the last video, you can learn how to make a Dole Whip at home. I know it’s not exactly the same. However, it could help with the withdrawals.
Oh I saw it! We’ll give it a shot! You right though, probably won’t be the same! 😄
