The 2014 Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend Expo is just over two weeks away! Can you believe it? Didi over at DIStherapy and Krissy at Shiawase Life are co-hosting a blog hop on today all about the 2014 Disneyland Half Marathon.
Do, do me a favor and head on over to their blogs to check out all the wonderful postings to help you get ready for the big event. As you all know, I’ve been posting a few things to help you all out myself. However, by heading over to the blog hop, you’ll get to hear information from a wide variety of sources. There are many wonderful runDisney bloggers out there whose advise I’ve found to be amazing.
For my part, over the past few months, I’ve done the following…
To help you plan your runDisney race-cation (not necessarily the Disneyland Half Marathon), I composed the following …
The folks at runDisney have given us this wonderful map of the course. Last week, I broke down the course in a series of posts.
The Beginning and Disney California Adventure
Not too long ago, runDisney sent out their Final Race Instructions, which I blogged about here. Some of the important things in the final instructions include links to print out your waivers and information about corral placement.
As if that were not enough to get your head spinning and protesting.,…too much information, I’ve also been having some fun visiting the Disneyland Resort Theme Parks virtually. You can see all of those fun-filled trips here. I’ve had tons of fun putting together the various you tube videos to capture everything that the theme parks have to offer. Even if you’re not coming out to the Disneyland Half Marathon, check out the virtual trips. They are so much fun.
I absolutely love running the runDisney races. Thus, the title of my blog. I love the running community and those that are runDisney bloggers. Each race is so much fun and brings that extra special Disney-nes to the running experience. If you aren’t signed up for the 2014 Disneyland Half Marathon Races, what are you waiting for? The Disneyland Half Marathon Races typically go on sale around the end of January or early February. So, start saving now (because we all know the runDisney races are not cheap). Sign up at the runDisney web site, here, to get an email notification for registration dates. Then, check out all the bloggers who are writing in this blog hop. Follow along with their experiences to be inspired. When the registration day comes, be ready to register at 9am PDT/ Noon EDT because the races sell out Lightning McQueen fast. Next year is the 60th Anniversary of Disneyland. I can’t help but wonder if there will be some sort of extra special medal for that year. Just something to think about.
Have fun hopping away!
